Kreiss is Aevium's Ice Gym leader. He's originally from Neverwinter and he visited Terajuma Island to investigate a rumor about someone impersonating him, but ended up being trapped by Angie in the Tower of Theolia while investigating Kristiline Town. Despite not fighting him for his badge, he ends up giving you one as a thanks for dealing with Angie after the town has defrosted, and even is responsible for freezing Angie in Never-melt Ice if you chose to free him from his prison.

Biography[]
Little is known of Kriess' full origins. However certain details about him can be found later the story in chapter 15. Through a flashback from Kanon in Angie's estate, Erin asks Kanon the name of Angie's baby. It is then revealed to be named Kriess. This flashback takes place while Kriess was only one year old.

- Kreiss has an official Twitter account. The only other character to have one as well is Saki.
- According to said twitter, next to his job as a Gym leader he also runs a book publishing company.
- He has a terrible case of motion sickness, to the point that the only method of transport that isn't by foot he can use without problems is a boat. He sometimes has Martin give him a lift on his snowmobile, but it always ends up with Kreiss feeling ill afterwards.
- To corroborate this, the only method of transport he personally owns is actually a boat.
